Plastic Android: cuddly, but not flash compatable.

android hi 150x150 Plastic Android: cuddly, but not flash compatable.

While searching for news about Android, which is one of my favorite evening past times (hell I do it anyway at work when I get a free moment), I came across the coolest thing I could ever want to hold in my hands: Plastic (actually vinyl) Android action figures. Showcased at DYZplastic these official Android collectors items are the brain-child of artist Andrew Bell and the folks at Google designed to bring you all the awesomeness of Google Android in pre-customized, 3 inch, cute and cuddly (no, I’m not gay) greatness!!

According to the production site these not so web capable creations come in 12 figure sets, with as you would guess, a few that are going to be hard to come by and therefore extremely collectable and sure to show up in overpriced auctions on Ebay here in the next 12 months, the first edition becoming available here in a month or so. I don’t know exactly what these little boxed up bundles of joy will start for, but that they’ll be offered in single boxes by themselves; for those of us who love to press our luck, or boxes of 16; for those of us who can’t stand being left out of the crowd.

For those of you who want to know, yes I will be ordering these as soon as they come out, I just can’t resist having one of these little monsters on my desk, and for those of you who also want to know: I will post a link to where you can purchase them so you too can get your hands on these guys. Who knows, maybe they’ll package them with flash right off the bat . . . just like we all hoped the original Android would be (don’t lie you know you wanted flash).
