If there was anything that would make me happy to go into work this morning, it was what I found in my Inbox from my friend: what I found was a story on Fox news (don’t judge me) about a new line of Adidas shoe throwback line, in more ways than one. Not only do these sexy sneaks find a way to throwback their styles to the 70′s and 80′s skate shoe, but they mix in an all time World-Wide Favorite: Star Wars!
These might just be the Valentines gift that my fiancee or I have been looking for this year. With style ranging from the feminine Princess Leia shoe to the ultra “moon boot” style Luke Skywalker shoe, this line is poised to have every aspect of Star Wars ready for you to lace onto your feet and show off to your friends.
Has my Dream Come True?
These shoes aren’t just colorized jumble-together gimmicks, they are the real deal for the real fan. Clad in everything from: leather, sude, or textile, and even reflective surfaces; each version of the shoe accurately captures the depth and the quality of each beloved character you have come to love over the years (Yes, No Jar Jar!). From the ominous red and black scheme of the Dark Lord of the Sith: Darth Vader, to the faceless and stylish armor of his legions of Storm troopers, all the way to the back world of Dagobah with Jedi Master: Yoda.
How Much Will They Cost?
Unfortunately, unless you really have a thing for Leia and her purple / maroon styled shoes, you’ll have to lay down some cash to get a hold of these beauties. Most of the shoes have a price tag of between: 100-200 Dollars, while Leia and all her 80′s bra-less glory is set at a reasonable 65 Dollars for the pair. I can’t say how much the Vehicle edition will be, but they are probably going to be in the same neighborhood and set for a release of the beginning of March.
Where Can I Get Them?
Fortunately they are pretty easy to get a hold of since they are being sold at Addidas’ online store as well as the Star Wars shop (store link near the bottom), unfortunately since they are an online purchase you’ll have to lay down some shipping and handling on these sneaks. Still, just looking at these shoes has me reaching for my wallet, I mean seriously I’m typing with one hand right now. So go ahead and follow the wise advice of Yoda and “get them, you should” just be sure you don’t miss a Car payment because of it.
